The following is the disclosure policy for strategysarah.com, published by Sarah Parsons
This is a bit of legalese, just to make sure we’re all clear what’s going on around here and that every thing is on the up and up. By reading this site, you agree to the Terms & Conditions and Disclosure Policy below. Okay? Okay.
1. Terms of Use
My goal at strategysarah.com is to provide practical and encouraging tools and resources to reduce information overload, live intentionally, know yourself, and take action to make life easier. All information that you read here or take action on is at your own risk. You acknowledge that you’re reading the blog of your own free will and that you assume liability for any positive or negative outcomes as a result thereof. (Thereof just sounds like it makes it more important, doesn’t it?) All the information provided on this blog is for entertainment purposes only and should not be considered medical, legal or other professional advice.
2. The views expressed on this site are mine only, and do not represent those of any employer or client past or present with whom I have worked.
3. Copyright Policy
Unless otherwise noted, I am the legal copyright holder of all material on this blog and no materials may be reprinted or published without written consent. The only exception is short excerpts that link back to particular blog posts or content – I gladly welcome sharing short excerpts as long as it is credited back to me with a link to the blog.
4. Privacy Statement
I value you and any information you share with me. I won’t ever sell your personal or contact information with another company, although you may be invited to sign up for information with another company or blogger. This will always be disclosed before you sign up. Unfortunately, I am not responsible for the privacy practices of any advertisers or blog commenters, but I do my best to keep it healthy for everyone involved.
5. Reserve Rights
I reserve the right to change the focus on this business and blog, shut it down, sell it or to change the terms of use (go to a paid platform) at any time and at my sole discretion. (I have no plans to at the moment, but you never know.)
6. Advertisers, Sponsors & Affiliate Links
Running a business and a blog has costs, and let’s be honest, part of the reason I’m doing this is to make money. I use affiliate links where available (i.e., if you see a link to a product or service, assume it is an affiliate link). I also accept paid advertising, sponsorship, giveaways and other forms of compensation (I’m sure I can’t think of every possible form of compensation right now, so I’m going covering this with a blanket statement). Every effort will be made to identify all sponsored or affiliate content as such.
What’s an affiliate link? It simply means that a company is willing to share a commission with me, at no additional cost to you, if you purchase through the link on my website. This is a fantastic way for me to share products and services that I think are really cool, and I promise I won’t ever knowingly steer you wrong.
Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer, provider or party in question. Any issue with any company featured on this blog in any capacity must be addressed directly with that company (although I sure hope there aren’t any issues!).
The views and opinions expressed on this blog are solely mine (and any guest posters) and I do my best to always be honest and truthful in what I share.
7. Letters to the Editor
I love to hear from you! By sending me a letter, email, blog comment, response on any social media platforms, or question written directly to me gives me permission to share your submission on the blog or in any additional content I produce (such as newsletters, social media posts, columns or paid products). I won’t identify you without your express permission, and will share content for the express purpose of helping you and other readers.
If you ever have questions or concerns about anything in this policy or anything else on the blog, please contact me.
