Hello and Welcome Mom 2.0 Attendees!

đŸ‘‹đŸ» Hey, I’m Sarah Parsons, coach, consultant, and facilitator.

If I met you in person this weekend, great to ‘see’ you again! If I didn’t, nice to ‘meet’ you!

Why I’m a fan of the “yes, and” mindset

My passion for coaching came about from personal experience, when I felt stuck, stifled, and unsatisfied. It was 2017, and I had seemingly checked all the boxes. I had the MBA, six-figure salary (with ever-increasing responsibilities & a growing team), a wonderful husband & two kids, and a house in the ‘burbs. And yet, it wasn’t all it cracked up to be.

Life seemed much harder than it needed. Yes, there were circumstances that truly were that hard, and I was making it harder than it needed to be. I had placed unrealistic expectations on myself, and I had let the weight of other people’s expectations pull me down even more.

Working with a coach helped me see it wasn’t an either/or. It’s a yes/and.

If you find yourself in this scenario, I want to encourage you that “yes, and” is more than a catchy slogan. I learned to say “yes” to my calling as a mom, wife, and friend, and “yes” to my expertise in the field of marketing, consulting, and coaching. There is room for both.

What areas are you stuck because of being what I call a “yes, but” person? Don’t be a “but” person. Be a “yes, and” person. I’ll show you how to get there!

Coaching, Consulting, & Facilitation

How Can We Work Together?

I work by invitation and referral only. Consider landing on this page your referral! While I can (and do) work with clients in a purely coaching or purely consulting capacity, more often than not, we create a custom package that combines coaching, consulting, and facilitation into a magic trifecta.

Strategy Call

All of my work starts the same way: Call it a strategy session, whiteboarding, intake call, or whatever other buzzword you like.

This is 90 minutes of dedicated time to focus on YOU.

You’ll come out of this call with insights and actionable next steps, whether or not we ever work together beyond this call.

Decide if We’re a Fit

This is a step that often gets missed. I’m here to make a difference, not to make a sale. It’s all about relationship and value. If there’s an opportunity and it makes sense for us to formally work together, great! If not, also great!

Package It Up

If we’re both a yes on moving forward, we’ll talk about what that looks like.

This might look like:
– A short (one week or less) intensive
– A 3-6 month high-touch engagement
– Quarterly check-ins

We’ll also discuss the balance between coaching, consulting, facilitation, or even speaking to your group or organization.

Make Magic Happen

Once we’re a go and have the details sorted, you’ll get the details on payment, onboarding, the not-so-fun-but-necessary legal stuff, and the really fun onboarding.

We do the work together to make your vision come true.

What I admire most about you is your ability to effortlessly engage in big picture/strategic discussions, and also roll up your sleeves and get into the messy detail that most people want nothing to do with.

You don’t shy away from difficult conversations, but you’re thoughtful and deliberate in the way you approach them.
